Communication
is the basic process of exchanging information. It is what human beings do to
convey their thoughts, ideas and feeling to one another.
Introduction:-
- The process of transfer of information from one place to other place is called as communication.
- In early days peoples used to smoke, light, sound, etc. for communication.
- In late nineteenth century, a telegraph (1836) and telephone (1876) were invented.
- In any communication three things are required which are transmitter, communication media or channel and receiver.
- New era of communication began in 1888, when Heartz succeeded in producing and detecting electromagnetic waves.
- Marconi was awarded the Nobel Prize in physics 1909 for his work in developing wireless telegraphy (Radio).
- There are main two types of communication i.e. wireless communication and line communication.
- Now a day’s communication is possible using electronic instruments like, T.V., Radio, Telephone, mobile phone, internet etc.
- For the communication of information using above stated instrument, different layer of atmosphere are used to transmit and receive the signals.
